Industrial Electrician
Burlington, Ontario

Position Overview:

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment throughout the manufacturing facility. This full-time, permanent position plays a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, safe operations, and continuous improvement in a highly automated industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery, control systems, and equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues to minimize equipment downtime
  • Install, modify, and upgrade electrical systems as required
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Ontario electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to support efficient plant operations


Education & Certification:

  • Valid Industrial Electrician License (442A preferred)


Experience:

  • Previous experience working in an automated industrial manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Siemens Step 7 PLC systems considered an asset


Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, machinery, and safety protocols
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks


Compensation:

  • Hourly rate: $41.56 per hour
