American Residential Services (ARS) is hiring In-Store Sales Representatives / Lead Generators to represent our HVAC and plumbing services inside national home improvement retail stores.
Responsibilities
As an In-Store Sales Representative / Lead Generator, you will:
- Engage with customers in a retail store environment.
- Approach shoppers and start friendly, professional conversations.
- Ask questions to understand customers' home comfort needs.
- Educate customers about HVAC, plumbing, tune-ups, replacements, and indoor air quality solutions.
- Generate qualified leads and schedule in-home consultations or service appointments.
- Represent the ARS brand professionally and enthusiastically.
- Work toward individual and team lead-generation goals.
- Provide a positive customer experience from the first conversation.
Qualifications
What You Need:
You don't need HVAC experience to be successful. We are looking for people who are:
- Outgoing personality and willingness to speak with shoppers
- Retail, kiosk, Door-to-Door, or sales experience preferred (not required)
- Ability to stand and walk during shifts
- Weekend and some holiday availability
- Reliable transportation
- Clean, professional appearance representing the ARS brand
- Ability to attend weekly in-office meetings
- Employment is contingent on a background check in accordance with applicable law
