Full Job Description
The Role

As an Implementation Director, Federal at Abridge, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment and implementation of Abridge products and services within our Federal program. You will be the primary point of contact for our Implementation workstream and you will be the driving force behind seamless project execution. You'll use your exceptional communication skills as you work closely with the Abridge Federal program team, internal, and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time, while exceeding the needs and expectations of our clinicians.

What You'll Do
  • Lead new site, product implementations, and large scale expansion events. Serve as the primary point of contact for Abridge's Federal counterparts during their initial deployment and ongoing product implementation deployments.
  • Own the creation, coordination, and execution of project plans, in collaboration with internal and external cross-functional teams.
  • Accountable for leading through each of the project phases, including kickoffs, technical configuration, testing, clinician training, go-live, and post-live success.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Push our goals forward with a focus on new site activations and ongoing feature and product adoption. You'll develop the implementation strategy as well as execute critical work efforts, either yourself or managing teams to execute dependent work
  • Collaborate within the broader company and the Abridge Federal program team to identify and implement areas for process and tool improvements in a dynamic and growing environment.
  • Participate in the creation of repeatable processes that will scale to build a thriving Federal program team and function at Abridge.
What You'll Bring
  • Have a track record of driving successful healthcare technology implementation projects from initiation to completion.
  • Experience in both new site implementation as well as driving ongoing implementation efforts with a focus on product implementation and product adoption.
  • Both an exceptional strategist as well as an executor. You'll own the implementation methodology for our Federal accounts as well as the execution of the Implementation efforts. This will be both as a direct contributor as well as managing scaled teams for work efforts.
  • Are extremely organized and seek continuous process improvement. You're able to manage multiple priorities at once, while maintaining attention to detail and quality in a high-speed and results driven environment.
  • Build strong relationships with various stakeholders, to ensure a long lasting partnership in alignment with our Partner Experience principles and high caliber of service.
  • Use data to inform all aspects of your work. Data drives our decisions, recommendations, is an early indicator of issues, and tells the story of our partnership and success with Abridge.
  • Have the ability to smell smoke and escalate early, with proposed solutions.You are creative and scrappy with strong problem solving skills, tactful conflict resolution skills, and a bias to action.
  • Have 7+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on software deployment and implementation.
Bonus Points If...
  • Experience implementing within the Federal ecosystem, with collaboration with the VA a significant plus.
  • Familiarity with systems requiring strict adherence to privacy and security protocols.
  • Knowledge of tiered support organizations and escalation protocols


This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in our New York City office, with flexibility for remote work on other days. Please note that approximately 40% travel is expected for this position.
