Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000
About the RoleAs an Implementation Consultant, you'll take new customers from signed contract to live, trusted financial reports. You'll bring an accountant's eye to every project: learning each customer's reporting needs, building their financial statements and management reports in our reporting and budgeting applications, and training their finance team to run and maintain them on their own. After go-live, you'll stay a trusted resource, helping customers solve problems, get more out of their reports and keep their finance teams confident in the numbers.
What You'll Do- Review the customer's general ledger setup, chart of accounts, dimensions and entities, and map them for reporting
- Build row and column definitions, calculations and report layouts for P&Ls, balance sheets, cash flow statements, budget-vs-actual and consolidated reports
- Configure budgeting models and multi-currency translation where needed
- Validate report output against the customer's trial balance and resolve variances
- Work with client's technical team to confirm the GL data connection is complete and accurate
- Train finance users and administrators through live sessions and written guides
- Manage several implementations at once, tracking tasks, risks and go-live dates
- Provide ongoing support to live customers by email and screen share, resolving report, budget and data questions quickly
- Troubleshoot report and data issues, find the root cause and follow through until the customer is satisfied
- Help customers build new reports and update existing ones as their business, chart of accounts or reporting needs change
- Hold periodic check-ins with customers to review how they're using our applications and recommend improvements
- Document common issues and solutions to build our knowledge base
- Share customer feedback with Development Team to improve onboarding and the software
What You Bring - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience, such as a staff accountant, senior accountant, GL accountant or controller role
- Hands-on experience building financial statements and management reports
- Experience implementing a general ledger, ERP or financial reporting application, such as setting up the chart of accounts, dimensions and entities, or report packages
- Strong understanding of the general ledger, account structures, month-end close and the core financial statements
- A customer-first attitude, with patience and clear communication with finance teams in writing, on calls and in training sessions
- Ability to manage several projects and deadlines at once with little oversight
Nice to Have - Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as NetSuite, Business Central, Sage Intacct or Acumatica
- Experience with financial report writers, budgeting or FP&A tools
- Familiarity with multi-entity consolidations and currency translation
- Working knowledge of SQL or data mapping
- Prior customer-facing role at a software company or consulting firm
