Working closely with center leadership, operations, Informatics, quality, revenue cycle, and vendors, the Manager develops practical training resources, supports go-live activities, and monitors adoption to improve patient experience and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate implementation activities with internal teams and vendors, maintain project plans and issue trackers, and communicate progress, risks, and decisions to the senior leadership.
Partner with center leadership and subject matter experts to assess current workflows and develop consistent processes for scheduling, patient intake, registration, exam preparation, imaging operations, and results delivery.
Support RIS, PACS, accounting, scheduling, patient communication, and other operational system implementations through workflow validation, user testing, training, and go-live coordination with IT and vendors.
Develop and maintain role-specific training plans, standard operating procedures, job aids, and training materials that reflect approved policies and workflows.
Coordinate structured onboarding for new employees and refresher training for existing staff in partnership with center managers and department leaders.
Deliver onsite and virtual training using demonstrations, hands-on practice, and follow-up coaching tailored to staff roles and experience.
Partner with clinical leadership and the quality team to incorporate approved patient safety, modality-specific, and compliance requirements into training; coordinate specialized instruction with qualified clinical educators and vendors.
Assess staff understanding and workflow proficiency through observation, knowledge checks, and practical demonstrations; document completion and coordinate additional training when needed.
Coordinate operational readiness for new-center openings, including staff training, workflow walkthroughs, mock patient visits, system access verification, and readiness checklists in partnership with the responsible departments.
Establish role-specific training milestones and proficiency criteria with department leaders, document results, and coordinate retraining and reassessment for employees who require additional support.
Maintain a post-go-live support plan, track issues through resolution, document lessons learned, and transition ongoing support to the appropriate operational or technical owner once agreed-upon stabilization criteria are met.
Coach designated trainers and center leaders to reinforce consistent practices and sustain training across locations.
Develop implementation communications that explain upcoming changes, staff responsibilities, training requirements, and support resources; gather employee feedback and address barriers to adoption with department leaders.
Travel to Amera locations as needed for implementation, training, and operational support, and perform other related duties as assigned.
