Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current Illinois Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification for NP; Current Illinois Physician Assistant license and PA-C certification for PA
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Preferred ACLS and PALS Certification
• Previous clinical experience in family practice, primary care, urgent care, or related healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and patient relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, physical exams, and health screenings
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice
• Provide patient education and preventive health counseling
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Promote wellness and disease prevention initiatives
• Deliver evidence-based, compassionate care focused on positive patient outcomes
