Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing Gastroenterology team and play a key role in launching an innovative
Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Specialty Clinic. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced provider with a strong background in the management and treatment of IBD to help develop a new service line while practicing within a well-established and highly respected Gastroenterology practice. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with GI physicians and multidisciplinary team members while maintaining a high level of autonomy in patient care.
Position Highlights:- Collaborate with an integrated multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing exceptional patient-centered care.
- Extensive clinical support, including:
- IBD Nurse Navigator
- Certified Ostomy Nurse
- Clinical Pharmacist
- Medication Authorization Specialist
- Practice within a 340B clinic, enhancing patient access to biologic therapies and specialty medications.
- Strong referral network from BayCare physicians and regional providers.
- Ability to make a meaningful impact by addressing a significant community need for specialized IBD services.
- Plans are in place to acquire an Intestinal Ultrasound (IUS).
- Call responsibilities include 4 days each month and 1 weekend a month.

QualificationsRequired- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current Florida APRN or PA licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
- National certification as an APRN or PA.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Gastroenterology, with specific experience managing patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
- Strong knowledge of current IBD treatment protocols, biologic therapies, and disease monitoring.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills.
Preferred- Experience participating in clinical research or clinical trials.
- Prior experience within a specialty GI or IBD-focused practice.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
