Air Liquide Electronics, is looking for a Instrumentation and Electrical (I/E) technician to be responsible for the upkeep of instrumentation at the plant facility including valves, transmitters, PLCs, analyzers, etc including troubleshooting, repair, testing, documentation, project management, and preventative maintenance.
Coordinating and executing preventative and corrective maintenance for site instrumentation such as calibrations including maintaining records in the CMMS program.
Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation equipment including taking corrective and preventative actions to improve plant or machine performance.
Lead instrumentation projects from project scoping to implementation including preparing scope of work, partnering with qualified contractors, scheduling, and ensuring quality outcomes with contractors.
Lead and support the instrumentation spare parts program including placing purchase requisitions, receiving, and maintaining inventory.
Assist other maintenance crafts as needed.
Partner with the team to maintain zero personal first aids/injuries. Uphold and actively support all Air Liquide Policies & Procedures.
Uphold the Safe Work Permit Process including preparing Pre-Job Plans, executing LOTOs, hot work safety, and confined space safety. Assists/works closely with lead production technicians, maintenance coordinator and plant manager with daily facility needs.

Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
6+ years Instrumentation and Electrical (I/E) industry experience
Familiar with terminology and technical knowledge of equipment such as transmitters, PLCs, analyzers, and valves for use in industrial gas environments.
Familiar with safe work practices, safety procedures and other safety requirements.
Familiar with analyzer (including gas chromatograph) operation, calibration, and maintenance.
Draw and read electrical and PLC diagrams.
Safely work on electrical equipment up to 480V.
Climb ladders (up to 50Ft) and work off elevated platforms/surfaces.
Work in a non-conditioned environment for extended periods.
Able to enter confined spaces for inspection, testing and work.
Wear appropriate PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, FRC, and steel toed shoes.
Has full range of motion and ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to work callouts, nights, weekends, & possible holidays
Some travel required to support other sites during turnarounds, commissioning or unplanned shutdowns
