Frederick Health Medical Group (FHMG), a highly respected 160+ provider, multi-specialty medical group, is seeking a Hybrid Diagnostic Radiologist Medical Director to join a progressive, high-performing health system and physician-led imaging enterprise. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape imaging quality, strategy, and growth, while maintaining an active clinical hospital practice with hybrid (onsite/remote) flexibility.

Clinical Responsibilities- Provide high-quality diagnostic radiology interpretations across a broad modality mix
- Collaborate with referring physicians to support timely, patient-centered care
- Participate in peer review, quality improvement, and protocol optimization
- Support coverage models that ensure efficient, reliable service delivery
Medical Director Responsibilities- Serve as physician leader for diagnostic imaging services
- Partner with hospital and medical group leadership on quality, growth, and access initiatives
- Lead clinical governance, including peer review, standardization, and best practices
- Support radiologist recruitment, onboarding, and engagement
- Help shape the future-state imaging strategy, including technology adoption and workflow innovation
Required QualificationsEducation & Licensure
- Board Certified Radiologist.
- Active Maryland license (or ability to obtain)
- Current DEA license and Maryland Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) license
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or approved provider)
- Unrestricted license with no history of suspension or revocation
- Eligible for participation with all payers
