Full Job Description
Within the HR Chief Administrative Office, the HR Non-Financial Risk Management Programs Compliance function is responsible for global oversight of HR's various Firm risk and control-related programs, liaising with key stakeholders in the Non-Financial Risk (NFR) teams, and providing oversight and guidance on Firmwide programs and publications of HR's policies and procedures to ensure global teams are adhering to minimum standards and timely updates of associated deliverables.

To be successful in this role, the candidate must demonstrate proficiency in US employment law, drafting and textual refinement, be a self-starter capable of solving complex problems, be able to multi-task across a variety of projects and processes, be a succinct and accurate communicator, and be attentive to details.

What You'll Do in the Role:
  • Draft, develop, and update HR policies, with a focus on US labor law policies, consistent with applicable and updated employment-related regulations and compliance, Firm standards, best practices, and organizational needs
  • Execute long-term strategy for driving changes to HR policy considering evolving legal obligations and organizational goals and needs
  • Conduct evaluation of HR policies including their impact and effectiveness with a focus on US labor law policies
  • Advise HR stakeholders regarding HR policies and any required / necessary changes
  • Research / benchmark industry best practices and recommend policy changes
  • Communicate policy changes to HR stakeholders as well as the broader organization, as needed
  • Coordinate with Owners/Contributors on the publication and project management of global and regional HR Policies, Procedures, and other related documents (i.e., "Documentation") used across the global teams within HR
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure critical dependencies are prioritized and appropriately communicate on related changes in a consistent manner
  • Serve as a primary policy point of contact for US HR Business Partners, HR Employee Services, Employment Law, and NFR stakeholders; provide training and guidance on policy interpretation, escalation protocols, and updates.
  • Ensure US policy content is optimized for the Firm's Knowledge Management standards and HR Virtual Agent, including content management, versioning, and AI-readability formatting.
  • Other projects / work as needed related to the responsibilities of the HR Programs Compliance team


What You'll Bring to the Role:
  • 3-5 years work-related experience
  • Demonstrate knowledge of US federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (e.g., Family & Medical Leave Act (FMLA), American Disability Act (ADA), various state paid leave laws, certain state and local pay transparency requirements). Ability to translate legal requirements into clear, actionable policy language.
  • Experience in drafting, copyediting, and/or content creation and refinement
  • Work effectively in cross-functional teams, having demonstrated strong partnerships with both internal and external business partners and alliances
  • Self-starter with strong and creative problem-solving skills who can balance multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment
  • Succinctly communicate ideas / recommendations orally and in writing to a wide range of audiences, as well as exceptional listening and presentation skills
  • Successful candidates will have a roll up your sleeves, can-do mindset
  • Experience in Human Resources, Legal Sector, and/or Financial Services desirable
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, primarily Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Knowledge of GenAI, CoPilot, and Compliance documentation best practices are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree
