POSITION SUMMARYWe are seeking a strategic, driven, and relationship-focused Director, Human Resources to serve as a key partner to the designated region. This leader is responsible for leading a team of HR professionals to deliver talent solutions that enable business growth, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and support operational excellence.
The Director, Human Resources acts as a trusted advisor to regional leadership, bringing a forward-looking perspective on talent, leadership, organizational design, culture, and workforce planning. This individual leads through others, building team capability and ensuring HR strategies are aligned with business priorities and positioned to scale with the region's growth.

They will guide and develop HR team members while partnering with business leaders to shape and advance long-term people, development, and culture strategies that drive performance and engagement across the region.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders, using sound judgment to provide counsel and feedback.
- Understands current and future business needs through collaboration with designated senior business leaders, creating, implementing and owning talent strategies focused on development, engagement, motivation, and retention.
- Oversight and ownership of core HR processes and initiatives in the functional areas of onboarding, talent management, employee engagement, culture, development, and compensation
- Leverages business acumen to analyze HR metrics and people trends, utilizing data to identify solutions and presents metrics in a compelling way to senior leadership.
- Owns workforce planning, succession and talent development strategies.
- Influence cross functionally and with senior leaders to impact business and talent strategy decisions, demonstrating confidence, courage, and an ability to challenge the status quo.
- Oversees and manages complex employee relations issues, providing coaching and guidance to HR Business Partners and leaders when needed
- Partners with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Organizational Development to define and develop solutions in support of business goals.
- Leverages knowledge of industry trends and considers new approaches and practices to evolve the talent strategies for the organization.
- Leads a team of HR professionals, providing management, coaching and development.
- Leads national and business unit talent initiatives in support of annual operating plan.
- Partner across HR and enterprise functions to align regional priorities with broader company strategy, programs, and initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree required.
- A minimum of 10 years of Human Resource Management experience, with demonstrated ability to lead teams.
- Easily builds rapport, develops relationships and establishes credibility and trust.
- Navigates sensitive situations and maintains a high degree of confidentiality.
- Superior attention to detail, prioritization, and organizational skills, with ability to multi-task.
- Experience successfully navigating a complex environment utilizing strong communication skills.
- Excellent active listening, consultative, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Demonstrates a healthy balance of people orientation, drive for results, and analytical skills.
- Construction or related industry experience is helpful, though not required.
- Must be willing to travel.
