Job OverviewBob's Discount Furniture is seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Distribution Center and Logistics in Solon, OH. This role supports multiple departments, assisting associates and leaders with HR issues and implementing services, policies, and programs that foster a high-performance, employee-oriented culture.
The HRBP plays a key role in empowering employees, driving productivity, supporting compliance, and ensuring quality standards. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities, and managing confidential matters with discretion.
Key Skills for Success Core Competencies & Expertise - Employee Relations - Conduct confidential investigations, resolve employee concerns, and maintain positive workplace relationships.
- High-Volume Recruiting & Staffing - Partner with operations leaders and Talent Acquisition to support ongoing hourly staffing needs, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, hiring events, job fairs, onboarding, and workforce planning.
- On-the-Floor HR Partnership - Maintain a highly visible presence throughout the facility by regularly walking the floor, engaging with employees and leaders, identifying concerns, and proactively addressing employee relations and workforce issues.
- Performance Management - Support managers in goal setting, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- HR Systems - Proficient in HRIS platforms for employee data management and reporting, Workday experience preferred.
- Talent Management & Succession Planning - Assist in identifying and developing high-potential talent and future leaders.
- Compliance & Employment Law - Ensure adherence to HR policies align with federal, state, and local employment laws and are being adhered to.
- Safety & Employee Well-being - Promote a safe work environment and employee wellness initiatives.
- Organizational Skills - Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation while managing multiple priorities.

Minimum Qualifications - Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Human Resources role
- Solid understanding of HR practices and employment laws
- Experience with HRIS platforms

Expected Base Pay Not Including Potential Commissions, Incentive, Bonus, etc. Opportunities:$80,000 - $90,000
