Job Overview:
The HSE Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety, health, and environmental programs and policies for Primoris Energy Services projects in Haskell, Texas. This role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and company standards, promoting a strong safety culture among all personnel.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific HSE plans and procedures in accordance with Primoris Services Corporation standards and regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, non-compliance issues, and areas for improvement.
* Lead and participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation for all safety-related incidents and near misses.
* Provide HSE training and orientation to new and existing employees, contractors, and visitors, covering topics such as hazard recognition, emergency procedures, and safe work practices.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE records, documentation, and reports, including incident logs, inspection reports, training records, and permits.
* Collaborate with project management, superintendents, and field personnel to integrate HSE considerations into all aspects of project planning and execution.
* Ensure the proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment.
* Act as a primary point of contact for HSE-related matters with regulatory agencies, clients, and internal stakeholders.
* Promote a proactive safety culture through communication, recognition programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
* Stay current with industry best practices, new regulations, and emerging technologies related to HSE.
Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
* Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in an HSE role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity within the energy, construction, or heavy industrial sectors.
* OSHA 30-hour certification required; additional certifications such as CSP, CHST, or ASP preferred.
* Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local HSE regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, DOT).
* Demonstrated experience in conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and developing corrective actions.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HSE management software.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively train and motivate diverse teams.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel to various project sites as needed.
* Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
