Full Job Description
The HRIS Analyst is a key contributor to the firm’s core HCM system, Workday, and is responsible for supporting Workday reporting and HR data analysis activities. This role is part of the Human Resources team and focuses on maintaining data accuracy, consistency, and compliance while translating business requirements into scalable reporting solutions within Workday.

Additionally, this role requires regular interaction with multiple departments and stakeholders at all levels across the firm. To be successful in this position, the individual must possess strong communication and customer service skills, along with a solid understanding of the Workday ecosystem.

Essential Duties
  • Maintain and support existing system reports to ensure ongoing accuracy, reliability, and usability.
  • Create ad‑hoc reports as requested to support business and operational needs.
  • Maintain and update the system organizational structure as required.
  • Perform functional testing in the Workday Preview environment to support Workday releases and configuration changes.
  • Prepare and submit annual HR government regulatory reports.
  • Diagnose report- or data‑related issues and provide timely, effective solutions.
  • Develop and perform regular audits to ensure data quality, consistency, and system integrity.
  • Maintain and update HR Quick Reference Cards (QRCs) to ensure user instructions remain current and aligned with system changes delivered in new Workday releases.
  • Regularly update and triage the Workday team’s internal ticket log, providing status updates and detailed documentation for assigned tickets and projects.
  • Support annual HR and Benefits document updates within Workday and NetDocuments (the firm’s document repository).
  • Provide support for year‑end HR activities, including compensation reviews, performance reviews, and benefits open enrollment.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential data with care, ensuring compliance with appropriate security controls, data privacy standards, firm policies, and regulatory or industry requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Reporting Relationship

HRIS Analyst reports directly to the Senior Manager of Human Resources.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Skills and Experience:
Clear understanding of client service and working effectively and independently as a member of a team.

  • 4+ years of experience supporting Workday HR reporting, core HCM functionality, and organizational structures.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage the Workday Community to research reported issues and determine appropriate configuration approaches for reporting requests.
  • Proven ability to build reports outside of Workday to present relevant data in a clear and accessible manner for firm management and end users.
  • Strong writing, proofreading, and oral communication skills; with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organization and project management skills to effectively balance competing priorities while adhering to deadlines and remaining calm under pressure.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels across the firm and deliver excellent customer service with a focus on exceeding expectations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong computer proficiency is required, with strong knowledge of HR Systems, Microsoft Office suite, particularly advanced skills using Excel, and Smartsheet.
  • Familiarity with HR functional practices.

Physical Demands

Must be able to move around the office up to 20% of the time.  Remains stationary up to 80% of the time. Operates computers and other office equipment (e.g., fax machine, copier, printer, etc.) regularly.  Requires constant communication and exchange of information. Must be able to analyze and observe information on a computer screen at least 85% of the time.

Working Conditions

Office environment. 4:1 hybrid schedule.
