Job SummaryThe HRIS Director provides strategic leadership, governance, and operational oversight of the Human Resources Information Systems function across Grupo Eulen USA. This role is responsible for the architecture, optimization, compliance, and long-term sustainability of all HR technology platforms.
The HRIS Director ensures that HR systems support operational business success by:
- Driving data integrity and system integration
- Enhancing workforce analytics and reporting capabilities
- Supporting payroll governance and compliance
- Enabling workforce planning and talent strategy
- Leading digital transformation across the employee lifecycle
This role leads the HRIS team and serves as the executive liaison between HR, Finance, Payroll, Operations, IT, and external vendors.
Key ResponsibilitiesSystems Oversight & Optimization- Own implementation, configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of HR systems (UKG Pro / Kronos and related new platforms)
- Oversee release management, system upgrades, testing, and integrations
- Ensure data integrity through audits, controls, and validation processes
- Lead vendor management and third-party system relationships
Payroll & Compliance Governance- Oversee payroll systems, ensuring proper measures are in place
- Lead annual payroll audit preparation and compliance reporting
- Ensure federal, state, and aviation-specific regulatory compliance
- Maintain data security and confidentiality standards
Workforce Analytics & Operational Excellence- Design and enhance executive dashboards, HR scorecards, and KPI reporting
- Translate workforce data into actionable business insights
- Develop predictive analytics for labor forecasting and workforce planning
- Standardize metrics, definitions, and reporting enterprise-wide
- Identify process automation and efficiency opportunities
- Align HRIS workflows with recruiting, benefits, payroll, and operations
- Support strategic workforce planning initiatives
- Lead system standardization across multi-state and airport operations
Strategic Leadership & Governance- Define and execute the HRIS roadmap aligned with business growth and operational strategy
- Establish system governance, controls, and compliance standards
- Lead cross-functional HR technology initiatives and digital transformation efforts
- Provide executive reporting and workforce insights to senior leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HRIS team
- Establish performance expectations and development plans
- Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
Key Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience required.
- A minimum of 3 years experience managing Payroll and Human Resources Information Systems in an HR function
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and its advanced functions, is required
- In-depth knowledge of UKG
What you will need- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive HRIS leadership experience
- 3+ years leading HRIS teams or enterprise system initiatives
- Strong payroll systems governance experience
- Advanced knowledge of UKG Pro / Kronos
- Advanced Excel and data analytics expertise
- Experience in multi-state, high-volume workforce environments (aviation or facility services preferred)
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbents may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
This is largely a sedentary role and requires being able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time. Occasionally, the person in this position is required to move/traverse inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. The person in this position regularly communicates with others in person, by phone, or by correspondence. This position will also require walking across the airport/services for auditing reasons.
