  • Build automated secure file exchanges using SFTP/FTPS protocols with mandatory PGP/GPG encryption for sensitive vendor interfaces.

2. Identity Management (IAM) & Core Business Interfaces

  • Partner with IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security to maintain automated Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) employee provisioning feeds connecting Dayforce master data to Identity & Access Management (IAM) tools like Okta, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and Active Directory.

  • Build and maintain 834 EDI carrier feeds to health plans, 401(k)/pension provider interface files, timekeeping interfaces, and custom General Ledger (GL) posting exports.

  • Build and audit banking/payroll file transformations, ensuring strict adherence to ACH / NACHA and ISO 20022 formats.

3. Systems Monitoring, Security & Troubleshooting

  • Actively monitor Dayforce integration execution logs, establish automated error notification alerts, and resolve payload failures, schema mismatches, or network timeouts.

  • Implement strict data security controls across all Dayforce data interfaces to safeguard confidential employee PII, compensation data, and health records in transit (SOC 1/2, HIPAA, GDPR/CCPA).

  • Serve as the Tier 3 technical point of contact for integration outages, API endpoint updates, and data synchronization issues.

4. Dayforce Updates, Testing & Governance

  • Lead regression testing and schema validation for all active integrations during Dayforce Service Packs, weekly platform updates, and API version deprecations.

  • Maintain comprehensive integration mapping documents, technical specs, data dictionaries, and API endpoint inventories within the IT knowledge repository.

  • Enforce IT Change Management procedures and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices across all Dayforce integration builds.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Required Qualifications & Skills

    • Experience utilizing enterprise iPaaS tools (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure Logic Apps, or Workato) to integrate Dayforce with third-party software.

    • Strong relational database and querying skills (SQL) for data validation, testing, and mapping.

    • Expertise with secure file transfer protocols (SFTP/FTPS) and PGP encryption.

  • Domain Knowledge:

    • Functional understanding of Dayforce HCM architecture (Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, HR).
