GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Providing support to ensure effective and efficient operation of the Human Resources department while maintaining confidentiality and appropriate employee relations with Agency staff.
JOB TASKS
Ensure compliance with licensing, legal, and government mandates regarding employment
Maintain Agency legal mail database and act as a liaison with ongoing legal matters and follow up
Develop and direct programs that maintain good employee relations
Oversee or participate in training programs for new or existing employees
Act as a Super-user for HRIS systems
Assist with unemployment processing and follow up
Ensure subordinates are properly oriented and trained within the appropriate time frames and compliant with Agency policies and licensing standards
Conduct timely and thorough employee supervision meetings, documents employee performance, and employee performance appraisals
Prioritizes tasks and activities and demonstrates good time-management skills
Actively participates in Agency fund-raising events, committees, staff meetings, and in staff supervision
Maintain high level of confidentiality
Ensures compliance with all required state and federally mandated background and exclusion checks including but not limited to criminal history background investigation (fingerprinting), Central Registry, Child Abuse Record Information (CARI), drug testing, and motor vehicle checks.
Ensures compliance with wearing a mask when mandated by State, Federal, and Licensing authorities during a public health crisis/pandemic.
