HPC ENGINEER to design, automate, and support
High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with
HPC infrastructure, Terraform, Python, Linux, and AWS cloud services.
Key Responsibilities- Design, deploy, and support scalable HPC environments on AWS.
- Build and manage compute clusters, networking, storage, and HPC workloads.
- Develop reusable Terraform modules for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Use Python to automate provisioning, monitoring, configuration, and operational tasks.
- Support HPC schedulers such as Slurm or AWS Batch.
- Monitor and optimize cluster performance, availability, capacity, and resource utilization.
- Troubleshoot complex Linux, compute, storage, networking, and workload issues.
- Implement CI/CD and automation practices for infrastructure deployments.
Required Skills- Strong HPC infrastructure/cluster engineering experience.
- Hands-on AWS cloud experience.
- Advanced Terraform/IaC skills.
- Strong Python scripting and automation experience.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Slurm or similar HPC schedulers.
- Knowledge of HPC compute, storage, and networking.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred- AWS ParallelCluster experience.
- GPU/accelerated computing experience.
- Cloud HPC migration experience.
- High-performance/parallel storage experience.
Mandatory Skills: App-Cloud-Amazon-AWS.
Experience: >10 YEARS.
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $220,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
