Position: Home Technology Sales Consultant

Why this role exists:Our sales team is the connective tissue between what we build and the people who need it, and the team is growing! This role isn't about slick pitches or pressure-it's about listening well, solving real problems, and turning trust into long-term partnerships.
What you'll do (the day-to-day):- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads-from first conversation to signed agreement
- Know our offerings of residential home automation, audio, video, lighting, shades deeply enough to translate them into clear, compelling solutions. Bonus points for experience in electrical sales
- Conduct sales calls, site visits, and follow-ups with consistency and care
- Create accurate quotes and proposals (no mystery math, no crossed fingers)
- Coordinate closely with operations, project teams, and leadership to ensure smooth handoffs
- Track activity, opportunities, and forecasts in our CRM so nothing falls through the cracks
- Maintain and grow existing client relationships-because retention is revenue's quieter cousin

What we're looking for:- Proven experience in sales (B2B preferred, but good instincts count too)
- Strong communication skills-clear, warm, and direct
- Confidence without ego; curiosity without chaos
- Comfort juggling multiple deals, timelines, and personalities
- Basic tech fluency (CRM systems, email, spreadsheets)
- A bias toward follow-through-you do what you say you'll do
