The Occupational Therapist 2 evaluates patients and helps them improve basic motor functions and reasoning abilities. The Occupational Therapist 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
The Occupational Therapist assist the physician with the initial evaluation of patient to assess needs for service and to establish realistic goals. Administrates treatment program prescribed by physician and teaches activities of daily living. Provide training in proper use of prosthetic devices and adaptive equipment. Instruct other members of the health care team in maintaining therapeutic, creative and self-care activities. Provides appropriate documentation of services in keeping with Agency policies and procedures. Participates in team meetings, case conferences, PI activities and other assigned meetings. Respects patients' rights, cultural beliefs. Maintains strictest confidentiality of all patient/Agency information. Adheres to all Agency policies and procedures including HIPAA. Accepts only those assignments for which qualified. Monitors and supervises the occupational therapist assistant. Communicates with Agency about any problems or concerns. Complies with State Regulatory Acct.

- Minimum 1+ year(s) professional or personal experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illnesses, or challenging behaviors.
- This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
- Must have a valid in-state driver's license, provide current registration and insurance, and have a driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years. This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100,000/300,000/100,000 limits.

The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$85,400 - $117,500 per year
