Position Overview

We are seeking an Engineer II to support Navy modernization efforts with expertise in Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems and machinery control systems. This role requires a strong technical foundation in engineering and familiarity with Additive Manufacturing (AM) techniques to support modernization and sustainment initiatives across Navy platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Navy modernization projects, focusing on mechanical and electrical HM&E systems and machinery control systems.
  • Apply Additive Manufacturing (AM) techniques to engineering solutions that enhance performance, readiness, and sustainability.
  • Provide technical expertise in system assessments, modernization planning, and lifecycle engineering.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of new technologies and processes.
  • Contribute to engineering documentation, modernization plans, and technical reviews.

Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship (mandatory).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with mechanical and electrical HM&E systems or machinery control systems.

  • Familiarity with applying Additive Manufacturing (AM) techniques in engineering solutions.

Preferred Skills
  • Prior Navy or DoD program support experience.
  • Knowledge of Navy logistics, sustainment, and lifecycle management processes.
  • Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM or other AM-related software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
