Highlights of the Opportunity & Practice
  • State-of-the-art equipment to be used Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator
  • Radiation and Medical Oncology will be housed in one location
  • American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer and National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers certified
  • Integrated clinical trials capabilities currently running almost 30 clinical trials in oncology including Alliance and pending NRG membership in Guthrie's Sayre location
  • Interventional radiology service line including ablation and TACE capabilities
  • The American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (ACS NSQIP) has recognized Lourdes Hospital as one of 66 participating hospitals that have achieved meritorious outcomes for surgical patient care.
  • Lourdes has been named a Screening Center of Excellence by the Lung Cancer Alliance (LCA) for its ongoing commitment to responsible lung cancer screening. Low dose CT screening for lung cancer carried out safely, efficiently and equitably saves tens of thousands of lives a year.

  • Full-time Palliative Care consultation service
  • Nurse Navigators, Social Workers, Nutritionists, Patient Financial Advocates on site to assist with Care Coordination.
  • Members of the Mayo Clinic network with full access to consultative services there including hematology/oncology pathology and radiology for electronic second opinions
  • Pharmacy with dedicated oncology pharmacist
  • This position is J-1 and h1b visa eligible
