Seeking a Head of RTDS Laboratories to lead global Real-Time Digital Simulation (RTDS) lab operations supporting renewable energy systems, grid automation platforms, and advanced power system controls.
This role will oversee RTDS laboratories in Dallas and Riyadh while driving hardware-in-the-loop validation, grid simulation strategies, renewable energy system testing, and advanced power system studies.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in power system simulation, renewable energy controls, grid dynamics, and engineering leadership across complex validation environments. Responsibilities
Lead and manage RTDS laboratory operations across multiple global locations
Build and oversee teams focused on power system simulation and validation engineering
Develop simulation environments for renewable energy systems, hybrid energy platforms, and grid interaction studies
Support hardware-in-the-loop testing for grid automation and control systems
Validate control algorithms and system performance under real-world grid disturbance conditions
