This includes managing our relationships with the FAA, EASA, and overseeing Part 145 compliance. Additionally, you will lead the development assurance processes for DO-178 and DO-254, manage Material Review Board activities, handle nonconforming materials, and possess the authority and judgment to halt production when necessary to address any issues.

WHAT YOU NEED

• At least 10 years of experience in quality, certification, or assurance roles within a regulated design and manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple functions or teams.
• Strong understanding of regulated aerospace or safety-critical manufacturing environments.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive compliance initiatives, and support operational excellence.

HELPFUL TO HAVE
• Master's degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline (may substitute for 2 years of experience).
• Experience with design assurance activities including DO-254, DO-178, ARP-4754 lifecycle processes, or similar development assurance frameworks.

• FAA DER or DAR experience, or direct support of DER/DAR activities.
• Background in avionics, general aviation, or other highly regulated safety-critical manufacturing industries.
• Familiarity with FMEA, risk design reviews, and formal risk management processes in hardware development
