Full Job Description
Location: Overland Park, KS (Kansas City Metro)

Employment Type: Full-time, In-Office

Department: Sales

Reports To: Chief Growth Officer

Salary: Top of market salary + equity

This role owns the operational backbone of Steadily's growth org, from the moment a lead is created through the first four months after a policy binds. You'll build and run the systems that determine how leads get routed, how agents get paid, and how our CRM actually works for the people using it every day. This role reports directly to the Chief Growth Officer.

We're looking for someone who's spent real time in the trenches of a sales org, not just reporting on it from the outside. You know what it feels like when lead routing is broken, when a comp plan has an unintended incentive baked into it, or when the CRM fights the team instead of helping them. You fix those things before anyone has to ask, and you identify and pursue opportunities autonomously.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Own the end-to-end operational funnel across Independent and Direct, from lead creation and routing through bind and the critical first 4 months of retention.
  • Design and manage lead routing logic so the right lead reaches the right agent at the right time, and keep it tuned as volume, sources, and team structure change.
  • Partner with Finance to build, model, and maintain commission and comp plans that are accurate, defensible, and actually drive the behavior we want.
  • Work directly with Product and Engineering to shape our Salesforce instance and surrounding tooling, so the CRM can facilitate world class performance against KPIs such as speed-to-lead, conversion and overall agent productivity.
  • Build the reporting and Metabase infrastructure that gives leadership a real-time, trustworthy view of SLAs, conversion, and overall channel performance.
  • Identify where the funnel is leaking, whether that's a routing rule, a data gap, a broken handoff between teams, or a process nobody owns, and fix it.
  • Ensure the team exceeds all SLAs across the funnel (speed to lead, follow up, conversion, etc...) and hold the org accountable to them.
  • Act as the connective tissue between Sales, Finance, Product, and Data so growth initiatives actually ship instead of stalling at the handoff.

YOUR BACKGROUND
  • Experienced: You've run revenue operations or sales operations at a fast-growing company, ideally one with multiple go-to-market channels.
  • Technical: You're fluent in Salesforce administration and configuration, or you've worked closely enough with Salesforce admins to speak the language and know what's possible.
  • Analytical: You're comfortable in SQL and BI tools (we use Metabase) and you'd rather pull the data yourself than wait on someone else's dashboard.
  • Cross-functional: You've worked directly with Finance on commission structures and with Product/Engineering on tooling, and you know how to get both sides to a decision.
  • Operational: You think in systems and processes, and you default to fixing the root cause instead of patching the symptom.
  • Driven: You can own a broad, ambiguous mandate with limited oversight and figure out what matters most.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
  • Compensation: Top of market salary + equity
  • Equity: Shares in a fast-growing company
  • Time Off: 3 weeks PTO + 6 federal holidays
  • Insurance: Medical, dental, vision, life, disability, HSA, FSA
  • Retirement: 401(k)
  • Perks: Free snacks, team lunches, collaborative office culture
