We're looking for our next Head of Product, Questrade Experience Platform. Could It Be You?

As the Head of Product, you will be responsible for defining and driving the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Questrade's Unified Customer Experience. You will lead a team of Group Product Managers and collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role will play a crucial role in shaping the future of digital banking and investments and driving the growth of our organization.

As the Head of Product, you will be the company's senior leader and the go-to expert for the management team on the present and future of Questrade branded Products. You will be responsible for staying abreast of the evolving regulatory environment and global best practices for developing and delivering world-class products, services, and experiences. You will help drive a culture of high performance and new ways of working for both these areas.

You will leverage customer insights to iterate on the digital product development and define the business hypotheses and KPIs to measure product success and ensure delivery of customer value for each iteration of a product release. This role is accountable for the success of the strategy execution, product roadmap, and feature definition at all phases of its lifecycle, delivery against committed timelines and within budget parameters.

Included in this role's scope is also accountability for the Enterprise Money Movement. Specifically providing the expertise and thought leadership for strategy and roadmap development for efficient movement of money across Journey's. This includes, implementing internal money movement capabilities to facilitate transactions across QFG products, as well as establishing partnerships with vendors, such as Interac, to support the needs of the enterprise.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Strategic Planning and Leadership:

• Identify and understand customer requirements, encouraging innovation within Product Leads to develop products and business solutions that anticipate and deliver on customer needs
• Serve as a liaison between the customer, upper management, executives, and other stakeholders, and help inform future business strategies and objectives
• Create and propel in the whole team, an agile discovery and delivery culture totally based on the modern digital products management practices like experimentation, prototypes, etc. in a real data-driven culture

P&L Management:

• Partner on P&L management on run and change activities, ensuring financial investments and return targets are met.
• Engage with colleagues and customers to assess the current state of the Enterprise Money Movement; analysing findings, implications, and opportunities, and reporting insights to the executive team.
• Proactively collaborate with regulatory experts to ensure Payment innovation aligns with industry standards while pushing boundaries to drive aggressive growth.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

• Coordinate all cross-functional initiatives and all enabling functions needed towards the excellent execution of all Build, Run, and Change activities in the Experience Platform

Strong Internal Governance:

• Maintain robust internal governance structures to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and Questrade's brand promise, processes, and policies.

Customer Experience:

• Ascertain the delivery of an integrated customer experience within this line of business and across other businesses that exceeds customers' expectations
• Drive a culture of high customer-centricity, accountability for outcomes, innovation, collaboration and excellence.

Efficiency:

• Streamline operational processes and ensure the efficiency of all Build, Run and Change activities.

• Are a thought leader with 15+ years Canadian Fin-Tech experience leading digital product management portfolios with a specialty in financial and investment services
• Have significant experience in B2B payments and financial services
• Are an exceptional communicator - verbal and written, across all levels including management. Have the ability to motivate, drive change and challenge status quo, deal with ambiguity and make informed recommendations. Exceptional relationship builder and collaborator
• Have strong financial acumen and ability to lead from strategy to implementation. Ability to work and lead in an Agile manner
• Have technical competence to provide subject matter expertise and challenge status quo when appropriate
• Are able to pivot priorities as required by the business
• Have deep experience in P&L management
