Full Job Description
We are hiring a Head of Marketing for Langfuse.

This is a hands-on marketing leadership role for someone with deep experience in product marketing, developer marketing, and technical content. You will own how Langfuse shows up in the market, manage the Langfuse marketing team, and turn our current founder-led, product-led motion into a holistic marketing ecosystem.

The core of the role is still product marketing and developer trust: positioning, launches, category narrative, developer content, website, customer proof, lifecycle, funnel, sales enablement, and the way we explain Langfuse to technical users and technical buyers. At the same time, Langfuse now has access to ClickHouse's global go-to-market engine. You will be the person who makes those resources work for Langfuse without diluting the Langfuse voice.

What You'll Do:
  • Own Langfuse marketing strategy and execution globally, with product marketing and developer content as the center of gravity.
  • Manage and develop the Langfuse marketing team, including Product Marketing Engineering, Developer Advocacy, and Product Marketing content and resources.
  • Define the operating model for Langfuse marketing: what sits in the Langfuse pod, what runs through ClickHouse shared teams, who owns what, and how we measure whether it is working.
  • Build the marketing plan across positioning, launches, website narrative including product pages and conversion paths, customer proof, onboarding, lifecycle, funnel, sales collateral, campaigns, and events.
  • Own the Langfuse category narrative: LLM observability, evals, prompt management, datasets, agent observability, self-hosting, and the broader LLM engineering workflow.
  • Keep the developer motion strong: useful technical content, examples, cookbooks, docs-adjacent education, changelog, town halls, open-source communication, and high-trust product launches.
  • Partner with ClickHouse demand generation and field marketing to make enterprise marketing systematic rather than ad hoc: webinars, workshops, regional events, conferences, paid campaigns, retargeting, and follow-up motions.
  • Create the canonical Langfuse sales narrative and enablement system so ClickHouse AEs, SAs, field teams, and leadership can confidently explain Langfuse.
  • Lead customer marketing and proof: case studies, technical stories, customer references, logo strategy, community stories, enterprise migration stories, and reusable sales narratives.
  • Use data to run the function: unique visitors, signups, activation, revenue, product usage signals, campaign performance, attribution, event ROI, pipeline creation, pipeline acceleration, and qualitative user feedback.
What You Bring Along:
  • You have led product marketing, developer marketing, DevRel, growth, or demand gen marketing for a technical SaaS product.
  • You have marketed to developers, infrastructure teams, AI teams, data teams, security teams, observability teams, or another highly technical audience.
  • You are a strong product marketer at the core: positioning, narrative, launch strategy, competitive thinking, customer proof, sales enablement, and technical buyer messaging are natural territory for you.
  • You write exceptionally well. You can make complex technical ideas clear without making them shallow.
  • You are technical enough to use the product, understand the market, earn credibility with engineers, and spot vague or misleading marketing.
  • You understand product-led growth and open-source funnels: activation, onboarding, conversion, lifecycle, self-serve adoption, usage signals, and sales-assisted expansion.
  • You understand enterprise marketing enough to work with demand gen, field marketing, sales, solutions, and regional teams. You do not need to personally run every event or paid campaign, but you need to know what good looks like and how to make the system work.
  • You can manage a small, high-talent team while remaining hands-on where the work needs senior judgment.
  • You are comfortable building the function while the company is changing around you. Some work will be cleanly owned. Some work will require influence, coordination, and judgment across a larger organization.
  • You already create content: blog posts, talks, product explainers, social posts, newsletters, videos, docs, demos, or open-source examples.
Perks
  • Flexible work environment - ClickHouse is a globally distributed company and remote-friendly. We currently operate in over 25 countries.
  • Healthcare - Employer contributions towards your healthcare.
  • Equity in the company - Every new team member who joins our company receives stock options.
  • Time off - Flexible time off in the US, generous entitlement in other countries.
  • A USD$500 Home office setup if you're a remote employee.
  • Global Gatherings - We believe in the power of in-person connection and offer opportunities to engage with colleagues at company-wide offsites.
