Full Job Description
For our Interior Design area we are looking for a person with strategic vision and academic leadership, capable of inspiring, coordinating and developing this area. We are looking for a profile that combines teaching excellencewith genuine industry connections and the ability to drive the programmes forward in the market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Academic leadership: Coordination and planning of all programmes in the area (Vocational, Bachelor's, Master's, Specialisation and Study Abroad) and promotion of new qualifications.
  • Teaching team management: Recruitment, planning of teaching hours and working meetings with subject coordinators and academic management.
  • Academic processes: Verification of official programmes, credit transfers and recognition, Erasmus and academic budget management.
  • Industry projection: Institutional representation in design and architecture sector organisations, and coordination of projects with companies and institutions.
  • Promotion and recruitment: Presentation of the area at Open Days and support for commercial actions related to the programmes.
  • Quality and Innovation: Definition of internship tutors, coordination of academic activities and quality assurance in the implementation of programmes.


COMPETENCY PROFILE AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
  • Demonstrable teaching experience (doctorate will be valued) to deliver teaching sessions.
  • Strategic vision and team leadership skills.
