About the RoleWe're looking for an internal customer-focused GTM Engineer to build and maintain the integrations, workflows, and tooling that support Freed's Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Support, onboarding, Finance, and Analytics teams.
You'll work directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, maintain the tools they rely on, and ship practical improvements.
You'll use AI coding agents to help build and maintain software and tooling, taking responsibility for understanding, testing, and reviewing the results. You'll collaborate with engineers on technical decisions and higher-risk changes while building a working knowledge of Freed's business and product.
How You'll Have ImpactYour work will help internal teams serve clinicians more effectively, reduce manual effort, and make everyday workflows more dependable.
- Architect and maintain key automations across business systems (HubSpot, Stripe, Customer.io, Intercom, internal tools, etc.).
- Build robust data pipelines and operational workflows using tools like n8n.
- Integrate with third-party APIs and build internal tooling to reduce manual work and increase visibility.
- Collaborate with GTM, Support, Finance, and Product teams to rapidly prototype and ship solutions.
- Own operational reliability of critical workflows, ensuring alerts, error handling, and logging are set up for every automation.
What You'll BringYour past customers may have been internal teams. We care that you've built for real people and improved what you built from their feedback.
- Experience working directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, build products or tools for them, and improve the result from their feedback.
- A track record of owning projects end to end: clarifying requirements, making practical decisions, communicating progress and blockers, asking for help when the scope or risk calls for it, and keeping what you ship working after launch.
- Working knowledge of HTTP, REST APIs, JSON, and authentication, and the ability to learn an unfamiliar API from its documentation.
- Hands-on experience working in and building on a CRM like HubSpot or Salesforce, including workflows, properties, objects, and integrations.
- SQL skills and comfort with structured data, including finding missing, inconsistent, or duplicate records.
- Comfort using AI coding agents, with the judgment to understand the generated output, test it, and confirm it solves the user's problem.
Nice to HaveAny of the following will help you get started, but none is required.
- Experience with n8n, Make.com, Zapier, or similar automation tools.
- Experience deploying a small application, writing tests, or using monitoring to diagnose failures.
- Experience modeling data for analytics with dbt or a similar tool, or building reporting on sales pipeline and revenue metrics.
- Experience designing growth motions, like lead routing, outbound sequences, or onboarding flows.
- Projects or working examples you can walk us through.
- Experience in a high-growth startup.
What We'll Bring- Competitive salary and equity in a high-growth company.
- Opportunity to make an immediate impact.
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- Unlimited paid time off.
- Company-sponsored annual retreats.
- A 401(k) plan to support your long-term financial goals.
- A commuter stipend for San Francisco-based employees.
