Full Job Description
What you'll do:

The Global Vice President of Product Management will champion best-in-class product excellence practices and oversee portfolio governance across the enterprise. Reporting directly to the CTO of the Electrical Sector, you will define and implement product management standards that enable cohesive, multi-product solutions, enhance customer outcomes, and accelerate business growth

Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute clear, multi-year product strategies and roadmaps aligned with overall business goals and market opportunities. Ensure the product portfolio roadmap supports the company's strategic objectives and adapts to industry trends and customer needs.
  • Implement best-in-class product management processes and portfolio governance, utilizing metrics and stage-gate reviews to drive disciplined execution.
  • Continuously improve the planning and delivery of products and integrated solutions, streamlining processes for speed and efficiency.
  • Oversee full product lifecycle management from concept to end-of-life. Prioritize new product development and enhancements, manage portfolio mix and ensure timely, successful product launches and transitions.
  • Drive product portfolio revenue growth, profitability, and ROI. Develop business cases, influence pricing and investment decisions, and monitor portfolio performance against financial targets.
  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver high-quality products and solutions to market on time and at scale. Align cross-functional efforts to product plans, ensuring manufacturability, quality, and a successful go-to-market execution for each segment.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach. Leverage voice-of-customer, market research, and competitive intelligence to inform product direction and segment-specific offerings. Anticipate market shifts and ensure the portfolio meets evolving customer needs in each target segment.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in the portfolio. Identify and pursue new technology, digital solutions, or business model that enhance the company's system solution offerings and competitive position. Balance incremental improvements with transformative innovation aligned to segment strategies.
  • Build and lead a high-performing global product excellence team. Set clear goals, provide mentorship, and develop talent. Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration ensuring the organization has the capabilities to execute product and segment strategies effectively.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • 15+ years of product /portfolio management and product leadership experience in industrial, manufacturing, or related technology sectors (electrical, mechanical, power management, etc.).
  • Experience working within a global business system developing standardized processes, and instituting best practices across the product management function.
  • Experience across hardware, software, and services solution portfolios.
  • Experience with legal, regulatory, cybersecurity, data privacy and taxonomy frameworks
  • Demonstrated success managing complex product portfolios and bringing new products or solutions to market.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence in a global, matrixed structure
  • Experience partnering with engineering and business unit leaders to deliver product initiatives.
  • Proven capabilities in developing product strategy, analyzing markets, and influencing product P&L outcomes (revenue, margin).
  • Familiarity with industrial product development lifecycles, system solution selling, and the needs of key customer segments.
  • Able to balance visionary solution planning with hands-on execution and delivery

The expected annual salary range for this role is $227,000 - 333,000 a year this position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
