Hybrid work environment (3 days in office and 2 days remote)

Travel required:

One-two trips to East Africa a year (10%)

Exempt from overtime under applicable employment standards legislation

Compensation:

$100,000 to $125,000 CAD

Position overview

The Talent Acquisition Manager will lead and evolve global recruiting strategies, operations, and hiring initiatives to support organizational growth across multiple regions. This role is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment, optimizing recruiting systems and processes, developing talent pipelines, leveraging people and hiring analytics, and partnering closely with leaders to attract exceptional talent aligned with the company's mission and culture. Our environment is dynamic and fast-paced. The Talent Acquisition Manager will bring strong operational excellence, strategic recruiting expertise, and a passion for creating an exceptional candidate experience globally.

Key responsibilities

Global Talent Acquisition Strategy
  • Develop and execute global recruiting strategies aligned with workforce planning and organizational growth objectives.
  • Partner with leadership and hiring managers to identify talent needs and build scalable hiring plans.
  • Lead recruitment efforts across multiple regions and functions, including technical, corporate, operational, and leadership hiring.
  • Build proactive talent pipelines and sourcing strategies for critical and hard-to-fill roles.

Full-Cycle Recruiting & Leadership Partnership
  • Oversee end-to-end recruiting processes including sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding partnerships.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to leaders on hiring market trends, talent availability, compensation expectations, and candidate experience.
  • Train and support hiring managers on interviewing best practices and equitable hiring processes.
  • Drive inclusive and diverse hiring initiatives globally.

ATS, Recruiting Operations & Analytics
  • Own ATS administration and recruiting workflows (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain recruiting dashboards and hiring metrics including time-to-fill, pipeline conversion, source effectiveness, and diversity analytics.
  • Continuously improve recruiting operations, interview processes, and candidate communications.
  • Partner with People Operations to ensure seamless integration between ATS, HRIS, onboarding, and workforce planning systems.

Employer Brand & Candidate Experience
  • Strengthen employer branding initiatives across global markets.
  • Ensure a high-quality, inclusive, and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Support recruiting marketing, social presence, and talent community engagement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or equivalent experience.
  • Eight plus years of progressive talent acquisition experience in the technology sector or supporting technology-enabled organizations within complex, distributed global organizations.
  • Experience recruiting software engineering, AI, and data science roles.
  • Experience supporting high-growth technology, AI, SaaS, or venture-backed organizations with a rapidly evolving workforce.
  • Strong experience with ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and recruiting analytics.
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership and hiring managers in fast-paced organizations.
  • Knowledge of Canadian employment and hiring practices; Ontario experience preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Thrives in fast-paced and dynamic environments.

  • Experience working within mission-driven nonprofit, NGO, social impact, or purpose-led organizations is considered a strong asset.
