The Role We're looking for a Global Supply Manager to build and scale Valar's procurement function from the ground up. You'll own supplier strategy across our supply chain, driving cost, quality, and delivery performance as we move from pilot plant to serial production. This is a high-ownership role - you'll set the playbook for how Valar sources, negotiates, and manages supplier relationships at scale, working directly with Manufacturing and Executive leadership to make sure the supply chain never becomes the bottleneck to deployment.
Key Responsibilities - Own end-to-end supply chain execution for an assigned product portfolio. Drive on-time, on-quality, on-cost delivery to point of use.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, and Quality to align on requirements, execution, and priorities.
- Identify and proactively communicate internal and external supply chain risks. Build, drive, and own mitigation plans.
- Track supplier execution and manage closely schedule performance. Lead recovery and improvement plans across schedule, quality, cost, capacity, and scalability, leveraging internal and external resources.
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or program management.
- Proven track record managing suppliers and supply chain performance in a fast-growth, highly regulated environment.
- Hands-on experience operating in an ERP-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

Preferred Skills and Experience - Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Nuclear industry experience
- CPIM certification

Salary
$160,000-$220,000 USD
