Global Structured Capital Markets Senior Associate
What You'll Do- Support Millennium's global structured capital markets activity, with a primary focus on convertible bonds and related equity-linked and structured transactions.
- Evaluate and execute convertible bonds, PIPEs, SPACs, private placements, and other equity-linked or structured transactions.
- Support all stages of transaction execution, including issuer review, valuation and terms analysis, internal approvals, investor feedback, documentation coordination, and bank and syndicate management.
- Partner with Equity Capital Markets colleagues and portfolio managers to identify, assess, and advance potential transaction opportunities.
- Develop and maintain issuer-targeting tools, transaction-precedent databases, market intelligence, and reverse-inquiry materials.
- Analyze market conditions, transaction structures, and potential opportunities in support of the broader Capital Markets team.
- Represent Millennium in meetings with companies, investment banks, advisors, conferences, and other market-facing forums.
- Develop and maintain relationships with ECM, convertible, syndicate, and sales and trading professionals at leading banks.
- Coordinate throughout the transaction lifecycle with investing, execution, legal, tax, finance, operations, risk management, compliance, Equities Management, and SPM teams.
- Work across global time zones and coordinate effectively with regional teams and stakeholders.
What You Bring- Bachelor's degree required.
- Five to ten years of relevant experience in investment banking, equity capital markets, convertible or equity-linked capital markets, or related sales and trading roles.
- Experience with convertible bonds, equity-linked products, PIPEs, private placements, or other structured transactions strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of equity capital markets transaction processes, including execution, diligence, and coordination among external and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, financial, and transaction-management skills, including financial-modeling capability.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior internal and external professionals.
- Ability to manage multiple live transactions and competing priorities with precision, urgency, and sound judgment.
- Demonstrated maturity, professionalism, and a collaborative working style.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong understanding of risk, controls, and compliance requirements within a financial-services environment.
Salary RangeMillennium offers a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $250,000 which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
