  • Monitor and track production milestones across suppliers to prevent project delays.
  • Coordinate closely with engineering to address design implications from sourcing decisions.

Full Job Description
Role Scope
  • Own the electrical category: switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, and busway, the longest lead times in the build.
  • Negotiate capacity reservations with electrical OEMs years ahead, converting reservations to orders as the pipeline firms.
  • Dual-source major equipment classes across OEMs whose products are not interchangeable, managing the design implications with engineering.
  • Track factory slots and production milestones supplier by supplier, because a slipped transformer is a slipped data hall.

  • You've reserved factory capacity ahead of firm designs and managed the commercial risk that creates.
  • You know the current lead-time reality of the electrical market by product class, not by rumor.
  • You've expedited equipment through a factory by knowing whom to call and what to trade.
  • Bonus: MV/HV equipment. Utility-scale generation. OFCI programs. Factory witness testing.
