Full Job Description
JOB SUMMARY

The Global Supply Chain Material Planning Manager will report to the Sr Manager of Global Supply Chain Planning. The Global Supply Chain Material Planning Manager will be client facing by participating Joint Steering Committees. (S)he will directly manage the end to end batch material readiness related to assigned projects to enable timely GxP production at KBI's global facilities in addition to including new product introduction and continuous improvement of material readiness. (S)he will also own the tracking and reporting to the rest of the organization for material readiness. Additionally, the Global Supply Chain Material Planning Manager will manage inventory replenishment of an assigned portfolio of vendors while leveraging the MRP system of record to ensure that inventory turn KPI is met.

Specific job responsibilities:

Manage end to end aspects of material readiness of assigned projects to enable timely GxP production at KBI's global facilities operations.

This includes:
  • Participate JSC (Joint Steering Committee) to be client facing to provide material readiness updates
  • Deciding on the need to expedite materials and initiate the request with the Procurement team to assess feasibility in order to secure batch production and revenue generation while accounting for MRP outputs
  • Providing inputs to the clients related to material readiness.
  • Centralizing cross-functional inputs related to material readiness including TechTransfers, FIH, Resupply and Commercial production.
  • Conducting material assessments to support Global Supply Chain Leadership decisions related to request for schedule changes.
  • Providing weekly reporting related to material batch readiness assessments as part of the S&OE process
  • Submit Purchase Requisitions for the needed quantities for assigned vendors' portfolio.
  • Collaborate with other Planners on ensuring PRs impacting assigned batches are placed on time


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 5 years of relevant Planning experience or combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor' Degree, CPIM a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • SAP experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency to complete tasks on time.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and your internal customers.
  • Basic computer skills i.e. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Ability to work in a team environment.
