The Design, Sustainability and Engineering team in GREF seeks an experienced Program Manager with strong cross-functional leadership skills to own GREF's Global Furniture Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) Program. This role is the single point of strategic ownership for FF&E lifecycle management, procurement strategy, asset management, and cross-functional coordination across GREF's worldwide workplace portfolio.

The FF&E function within GREF covers four primary responsibilities: defining and maintaining FF&E standards and strategy, stewarding the Workplace FF&E Standards, driving regional procurement strategies, sustainability, and benchmarking against industry practice to identify gaps and improvements.

This role serves as the connective tissue between Global Design, Workplace Guidelines, Construction delivery teams, GREF Finance, Global Corporate Sustainability, Portfolio Management, and Global Corporate Procurement (GCP). The successful candidate will integrate constraints and requirements from cross-functional stakeholders into efficient, scalable, globally-relevant solutions that are fiscally responsible and advance Amazon's sustainability commitments.

Key job responsibilities

- Own the end-to-end FF&E Lifecycle Management Strategy across GREF's global portfolio - from specification and procurement through operations, storage, and end-of-life disposition.

- Own and drive the FF&E procurement strategy, partnering with GCP under the shared-accountability model to co-own joint savings commitments while balancing regional availability, sustainability, and cost caps

- Own global FF&E Asset Tracking (AST) strategy across all GREF-supported sites, including asset storage, product ordering, inventory management, and evaluation of aging products to meet requirements of 100% inventory coverage and >90% data quality accuracy. Develop and enforce governance, risk and compliance controals for FF&E including monthly verification tracking, sadhbaords scopes and compliance evidence documentation

- Establish and maintain furniture asset lifetime guidelines, condition assessment criteria, and refurbishment standards that inform replacement planning, budget forecasting, and warranty alignment

- Collaborate in develop and manage a global FF&E circularity program - identifying, cataloging, and redistributing surplus assets to avoid unnecessary new purchases; establish partnerships with internal reuse functions, donation, resale, takeback programs and recycling partners for end-of-life disposition

- Own the GREF Workplace FF&E Standards (selection, testing, digital catalog) and FF&E Guidelines (design guidance, trade up/down decision logic, playbooks for internal and external teams)

- Develop the FF&E technology strategy, inclusive of disposal method tracking, including evaluating and driving decisions on platform capabilities, integration architecture across regional systems, and AI-enabled asset discovery tools

- Benchmark industry best practices, identify gaps between Global Workplace Design Guidelines and regional trends, and provide solution-oriented recommendations

- Lead cross-functional stakeholder alignment across Design, Construction, MAC, Portfolio Management, Procurement, Finance, IT, AV, Security, and sustainability teams

- Develop cost-avoidance tracking and reporting to quantify savings from procurement consolidation, reuse programs, and vendor strategy; coordinate environmental impact reporting (waste diversion, embodied carbon reduction)

A day in the life

This role is deeply cross-functional. You'll partner daily with Design, Construction, Procurement, Finance, Sustainability, Portfolio Management, and regional operations teams - aligning competing priorities into one global strategy for how Amazon's furniture is specified, procured, tracked, reused, and retired. One conversation might be negotiating a global seating contract; the next, advancing a circular economy partnership or troubleshooting asset data quality with a regional lead across the world. You own the system end-to-end, and you'll measure impact in millions saved and tons diverted from landfill.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience

- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree

- Knowledge of financial asset classification including capitalization thresholds and Special Economic Zone compliance implications for asset registries

- Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large-scale operations or corporate environments, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions

- BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain, Facilities Management, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
