ABOUT THE ROLE

The Global Communications Insights Manager plays a critical role within our in-house agency, draftLine, connecting media intelligence, social listening, cultural insights, and reputation measurement to deliver actionable business intelligence for Communications and Marketing teams. The position is responsible for establishing global measurement frameworks and reporting standards that enable a consistent understanding of media and social performance, public perception, reputation, and emerging trends for our Consumer and Corporate Brands. By integrating earned media analysis, social conversation, sentiment, and public opinion signals, this role will provide a holistic view of communications effectiveness and audience response. Through governance, standardization, and capability development, the role will help scale best practices across markets, ensuring a consistent and data-driven approach to communications intelligence globally.

Key Accountabilities of Position:
  • Communications & Social Measurement Framework: Define and govern global methodologies, KPIs, and reporting standards for measuring media performance, social conversation, sentiment, reputation, and public opinion across brands, categories, and markets.
  • Communications & Social Intelligence & Monitoring: Monitor and analyze traditional and earned media coverage, social conversation, sentiment, and key narratives for our Consumer and Corporate Brands, and Category, identifying shifts in audience perception and public discourse.
  • Integrated Reporting & Insights: Translate media intelligence, social listening, and public opinion data into actionable insights, reporting, and strategic recommendations that inform Communications and Marketing teams.
  • Cultural Trends: Monitor the evolving media, social, and cultural landscape to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential reputation risks.
  • Global Reporting Governance & Benchmarking: Drive consistency in global measurement and reporting while establishing relevant internal, category, and competitive benchmarks.
  • Tools & Measurement Optimization: Optimize media monitoring, analytics, and public opinion tools, identifying opportunities to improve methodologies, automation, and reporting efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Communications, Marketing, Insights, Brand teams, and external partners to connect intelligence with business priorities.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Level of Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, data analytics, or related field

Technical:
  • Proficiency with media intelligence, social listening, and communications measurement platforms (i.e. Cision, Brandwatch, TalkWalker, Meltwater)
  • Experience analyzing earned media and social data sources to assess communications performance and reputation
  • Strong understanding of communications and social media measurement, sentiment analysis, media impact, and narrative tracking
  • Strong data interpretation and visualization skills
  • Experience with Communications, Corporate Affairs, PR, Social Intelligence, or Insights functions

Soft:
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills with C-Suite level stakeholders
  • Deep fluency in today's culture and shifting media behaviors
  • Ability to communicate data-driven insights

Experience (Years within Function): Minimum of 7 years in communications analytics, media intelligence, social listening, digital analytics, reputation measurement, or related roles within marketing or agency environment

Salary: $165.000 - $185.000 + Bonus
