Job Description

About the role and team

Uber's Commercial Sales Enablement team supports our multi-billion dollar Delivery business, including Uber Eats, Grocery & Retail, Direct, and Uber Advertising. We equip our sales teams with the capabilities, tools, insights, and processes needed to increase seller productivity, accelerate growth, and improve customer outcomes.

As the Global Ads Enablement Lead, you will own the enablement strategy and execution for Uber's global Advertising sales organization, serving as a strategic partner to Ads Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Product, and regional and global commercial leaders.

In this role, you will translate Uber Advertising's commercial strategy, growth priorities, and evolving product portfolio into scalable enablement programs that strengthen seller capability and improve commercial execution across regions. From accelerating new-hire productivity and strengthening solution selling, measurement, negotiation, and executive engagement capabilities to enabling critical product launches, account planning, and adoption of seller technology and AI, you will lead a global portfolio of work designed to change seller behavior and improve commercial performance around the world.

This role requires someone who can move seamlessly between strategy and execution, influence senior global stakeholders, use data to identify and prioritize performance opportunities, and lead a team that enables sellers to evolve from product-focused selling toward outcome-oriented, multi-product customer partnerships.
What you'll do
  • Lead the Global Ads Enablement strategy and roadmap, translating Ads commercial priorities, performance data, seller needs, product roadmaps, and regional requirements into a focused portfolio of programs that improve seller and client partner productivity, capability, and business outcomes.
  • Partner with senior leaders across Ads Sales, Sales Operations, Product, Product Marketing, regional leadership, and global enablement to diagnose performance opportunities, establish priorities, define success measures, and align stakeholders on enablement plans and trade-offs.
  • Build scalable capability programs across the Ads seller lifecycle, including new-hire onboarding, solution and multi-product selling, pipeline management, negotiation, measurement, executive presence, account planning, and frontline manager enablement, connecting development to observable commercial behaviors and commercial performance.
  • Drive readiness and adoption for complex Ads product, measurement, process, sales technology, and AI transformations, coordinating stakeholder alignment, communications, training, manager reinforcement, launch execution, and post-launch adoption across multiple regions and seller roles.
  • Advance Uber Advertising's evolution toward outcome-oriented selling by equipping sellers to diagnose customer business objectives, position Uber's differentiated advertising solutions, navigate complex buying organizations, and develop deeper, longer-term customer partnerships.
  • Leverage platforms and data including Seismic, Salesforce, Gong, and emerging AI tools to personalize enablement, improve content discovery, identify performance gaps, measure adoption, and increase seller and manager productivity.
  • Measure enablement effectiveness with a disciplined measurement framework spanning seller readiness, behavior and tool adoption, pipeline and sales execution, and business outcomes; maintain accurate global reporting and communicate progress, risks, insights, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Lead and develop the Global Ads Enablement team, setting clear priorities and operating rhythms, allocating capacity across strategic capability programs, GTM launches, and regional needs, and maintaining a high bar for execution quality, stakeholder partnership, global consistency, and measurable impact.
  • Influence the broader global Ads organization through clear, concise executive communication, translating complex commercial strategies and performance signals into actionable recommendations while proactively surfacing dependencies, competing priorities, and risks to successful execution.
Basic qualifications
  • A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Revenue/Sales Enablement, Sales Excellence, Learning & Development, Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, Advertising/Media Sales, or a related field, including experience supporting a complex sales or go-to-market organization.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience leading teams, major programs, or cross-functional workstreams with accountability for strategy, prioritization, stakeholder alignment, and execution.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with senior Sales, Operations, Product, Marketing, and/or Sales Operations leaders to translate business priorities and performance gaps into scalable enablement solutions.
  • Experience supporting complex B2B, enterprise, advertising, media, or technology sales organizations, with demonstrated understanding of sophisticated sales cycles, pipeline management, account planning, solution selling, negotiation, and customer relationship development.
  • Experience leading complex global go-to-market or organizational change initiatives, including product, process, sales methodology, measurement, technology, or AI/tool adoption, with responsibility for communications, readiness, execution, reinforcement, and measurement.
  • Experience using sales and enablement technology such as Salesforce and Seismic, or comparable CRM, LMS/content management, analytics, sales intelligence, and seller productivity platforms, to manage programs, drive adoption, and evaluate impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to identify performance gaps, prioritize investments, maintain accurate reporting, and measure outcomes such as seller productivity, pipeline health, adoption, deal velocity, deal size, or revenue performance.
  • Demonstrated experience applying AI and automation to design, deliver, and scale enablement programs, including using AI-powered tools to improve learning, content, workflows, personalization, or seller productivity.
  • Professional working proficiency in English, with demonstrated ability to communicate complex strategies, performance insights, risks, and recommendations clearly and accurately to both executive and frontline audiences.
  • Must be able to work from the designated Uber office/hub according to Uber's applicable hybrid work schedule and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and teams across multiple global time zones.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 20%).
Preferred qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Communications, or a related field preferred; MBA or other relevant advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience supporting advertising, media, ad tech, digital marketing, or other complex enterprise sales organizations, with familiarity with advertising sales motions, agencies, measurement, account planning, and multi-product solution selling.
  • Strong proficiency with data and analytics, including the ability to interpret commercial performance data, diagnose productivity and capability gaps, establish success metrics, and translate insights into clear recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Experience designing and executing large-scale enablement and change management programs across multiple regions, customer segments, sales roles, or business units while balancing global consistency with regional requirements.
  • Advanced experience with Salesforce, Seismic, Gong, Tableau, sales intelligence platforms, AI-powered seller tools, or comparable revenue technology platforms, including driving adoption and measuring business impact.
  • Experience building or scaling sales methodologies and capability programs focused on consultative or solution selling, executive engagement, negotiation, strategic account planning, and complex deal development.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a rapidly evolving product and commercial environment, balancing long-term capability building with time-sensitive GTM and business priorities.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and practical experience applying AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve seller productivity, personalize enablement, or simplify commercial workflows.
