Job Description Summary
Responsable de la livraison d'un portefeuille de projets de mise à niveau et/ou de services de maintenance pour les clients de GE Vernova Électrification en Amérique du Nord. Le gestionnaire de projets est responsable de l'exécution des projets de services, de la garantie, de la gestion des activités et des ressources liées aux projets, de la responsabilité des profits et pertes (P&L), ainsi que de la relation et de la satisfaction client. Le gestionnaire de projets est responsable de la planification et de l'exécution des projets de services transactionnels et de flux (" flow business "), en assurant la qualité, le contrôle des coûts, le respect des normes SSE (Santé, Sécurité, Environnement) et le respect des délais, conformément aux termes contractuels.

Project Manager responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of upgrade projects and/or maintenance services to GE Vernova Electrifications Clients in North America. Project manager is responsible for service project delivery, warranty, management of project related activities and resources, profit & loss accountability and customer relationship and satisfaction. Project Manager is responsible for planning and executing transactional and flow business service projects, ensuring quality, cost, EHS and on time delivery according to contractual terms.

Responsabilités Essentielles

En tant que gestionnaire de projets, vous devrez :
  • Être responsable de la SSE (Santé, Sécurité, Environnement) sur vos projets.
  • Effectuer la revue de la commande client et la comparer avec la soumission lors du transfert du projet de l'équipe commerciale à l'équipe des opérations.
  • Diriger la réunion de lancement (kick-off) du projet avec tous les contributeurs internes.
  • Diriger la réunion de lancement avec le client pour communiquer la nature des travaux à effectuer et clarifier tout problème lié à la commande.
  • Coordonner toutes les activités liées au projet.
  • Revoir et anticiper les dépenses par rapport au budget (coût des pièces, main-d'œuvre, sous-traitants, transport...)
  • Maintenir ou augmenter la marge bénéficiaire du projet.
  • Rechercher des opportunités de commandes de modification (Change Orders) et les réaliser.
  • Anticiper les risques et les atténuer.
  • Faire des prévisions de revenus précises et livrer les revenus engagés.
  • Préparer les revues de projets pour la haute direction.
  • Animer les réunions et envoyer les comptes-rendus (internes et externes).
  • Effectuer la facturation selon les conditions contractuelles.
  • S'assurer que les factures sont payées à temps.
  • Assurer le suivi avec le département des approvisionnements de GE concernant les livraisons des fournisseurs.
  • Communiquer et informer le client de l'avancement du projet sur une base régulière.
  • Produire le rapport d'analyse post-mortem du projet.
  • Effectuer la fermeture administrative du projet.
  • Être capable et disposé à gérer plusieurs projets simultanément.

Qualifications / Exigences :
  • Ce rôle exige une expérience significative en gestion de projets (de préférence liée aux activités de services et/ou dans le secteur du transport d'énergie et/ou sur des équipements FACTS ou HVDC).
  • 5 à 8 ans d'expérience professionnelle, dont 3 à 5 ans en gestion de projets.
  • Détenir un diplôme universitaire spécialisé en ingénierie, de préférence dans le domaine électrique ou mécanique.
  • Maîtrise de l'anglais à l'oral et à l'écrit (obligatoire).
  • Maîtrise du français à l'oral et à l'écrit (souhaitable).
  • Capacité à voyager de temps à autre (principalement aux États-Unis et au Canada).

Essential Responsibilities

As the Project Manager, you will:
  • Be responsible for EHS on your projects.
  • Perform customer order review and compare with the quote upon transfer of the project from Commercial team to Operations team.
  • Lead the project kick-off meeting with all internal contributors.
  • Lead the customer kick-off meeting to communicate the nature of the work that will be done and clarify any issues in the order.
  • Coordinate all activities related to the project.
  • Review and anticipate spendings vs budget (cost of parts, labor, subcontractors, transportation...)
  • Maintain or increase project margin.
  • Look for Change Orders and realize these opportunities.
  • Anticipate the risks and mitigate them.
  • Make accurate forecast of revenue and deliver the revenue that has been committed.
  • Prepare project reviews for senior management.
  • Lead meetings and send the minutes of meeting (internal and external).
  • Perform invoicing according to the contract terms.
  • Make sure invoices are paid on time.
  • Follow-up with GE procurement department on supplier deliveries.
  • Communicate and inform the customer of project progress on a regular basis.
  • Produce the project Post-Mortem analysis report.
  • Perform the administrative closing of the project.
  • Is able and willing to handle several projects at the same time.


Qualifications/Requirements:
  • This role requires significant experience in the Project Management (preferably related to Service activities and/or in the transmission sector and/or on FACTS or HVDC equipment).
  • 5-8 years work experience including 3-5 years in project management.
  • Hold a university degree specialized in Engineering preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Field.
  • Proficiency Spoken & Written - English Must
  • Proficiency Spoken & Written - French Desirable
  • Ability to travel from time to time (mostly in the US and in Canada)
