Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - General Surgery Location: Goldsboro, NC

UNC Surgical Specialists at Goldsboro is a well-established and growing general surgery practice dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered surgical care. We are seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our collaborative surgical team.

Position Highlights- Team Environment: Join a team of experienced General Surgeons in a supportive, collegial setting
- Scope of Practice: Broad exposure to general surgery, including pre-operative, intra-operative (first assist), and post-operative care
- Collaboration: Work closely with surgeons, APPs, and a multidisciplinary care team
- Call Schedule: Shared call rotation (details to be discussed based on experience and team structure)
- Hospital Coverage: o Primary hospital: UNC Health Wayne
- Clinic Location: Conveniently located near the hospital campus
- Support System: Strong clinical and administrative support staff
- Hospitalist Support: In-house hospitalist services available
Candidate Requirements - Licensed NP or PA in the state of North Carolina (or eligible)
- Interest or experience in General Surgery preferred
- New graduates with a strong interest in surgery are encouraged to apply
- Experience with Epic preferred

Education Requirements:• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina.
• Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.
Professional Experience Requirements:• No prior experience required.
