General Surgeon

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Surgeon to join our growing team in Atlanta. This physician will be responsible for office consults, office procedures, hospital call coverage, and surgical procedures performed in ambulatory surgery centers and hospital settings.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care for general surgery conditions using evidence-based standards of practice.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, including patient history, physical examinations, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals as appropriate.
  • Perform in-office procedures as indicated following appropriate evaluation.
  • Cover acute care surgery services during hospital call, including new consults and surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and support teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and care plans.
  • Complete charting and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
