About the RoleThe General Manager, Western Region is the P&L owner for Nabis's California market, with the role expanding to include Nevada and Arizona as those markets attach. This is a senior leadership seat reporting to the President, responsible for driving revenue and margin performance, managing key retail and brand partnerships, and representing Nabis to regulators and industry partners across the region.

- Manage and grow Nabis's most important brand and retail partner relationships in the region, including pricing, commission structures, and marketing/logistics terms.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and defend Nabis's position in its largest market.
- Drive adoption of Nabis's financial products (Nabis Capital, BillPay) across the retailer and brand base.
- Ensure the region runs to service-level and compliance standards - delivery performance, fulfillment quality, and chain-of-custody/audit readiness across all facilities.
- Oversee credit and collections judgment on strategic accounts, balancing recovery with partner relationships.
- Serve as Nabis's senior representative to state regulators (California, Nevada, and Arizona) and at industry events.
- Lead the attach of Nevada and the launch of Arizona, building out the regional footprint without losing focus on the core California business.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR- 8+ years in general management, P&L leadership, or regional operations, ideally in distribution, CPG, or a multi-state regulated industry.
- Track record owning a P&L of significant scale ($50M+ preferred) with direct accountability for revenue and margin.
- Experience managing senior-level relationships with major commercial partners (retail, brand, or enterprise accounts).
- Comfort operating in a regulated, compliance-heavy environment; experience with state regulators a plus.
- Strong operational fluency - supply chain, logistics, or fulfillment experience preferred.
- Willingness to travel 40-50% across California, Nevada, and Arizona.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Los Angeles.
Compensation & Benefits:- Base salary: $175,000-$190,000, plus target bonus weighted to gross margin and contribution margin performance, and long-term incentive (LTI) eligibility.
