Full Job Description
As the General Manager at the Hershey Lodge & Convention Center, this executive leadership role is accountable for maximizing profitability and ensuring the highest standards of employee & guest experience. You will provide visionary direction, steering the property's strategic, operational, and financial performance while fostering a culture of excellence among a diverse team.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
  • Develop and execute long-term strategic plans to enhance the property, increase revenue, control costs, and maintain excellent service quality.*
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team through fostering a positive and collaborative culture to achieve department and property goals.*
  • Monitor financial performance through overseeing budget management, profit strategies, forecasting, and cost control measures.*
  • Establish and maintain operational efficiencies that ensure guest satisfaction through quality products and service standards.*
  • Partner with cross-functional departments to enhance guest experience and maintain brand integrity. Develop strategies in collaboration with the Marketing team to promote the property.*
  • Maintain property standards and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. *
  • Maintain effective communication with staff, guests, and other stakeholders.*
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Industry experience - General Manager
  • Minimum of 12 years of related experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Skilled in the use of Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
  • Proficient working with details on a daily basis for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must have the ability to safeguard confidential information.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
