Associate Attorney - General Liability
We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team in New York City. As a key member of our litigation department, you will play a critical role in handling general liability and commercial litigation cases, with a focus on premises, construction, labor law, auto/trucking, and commercial disputes.
Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in various general liability and commercial litigation matters, including premises liability, construction disputes, labor law claims, and commercial litigation
• Conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, and develop case strategies
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other court documents
• Negotiate settlements and engage in mediation and arbitration proceedings
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and colleagues to achieve case goals and objectives
• tay up-to-date on developments in general liability and commercial litigation law
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in general liability and commercial litigation
• Jurisdiction to practice law in New York
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
