Full Job Description
We are seeking a General Counsel for Mujin USA (MUSA) who will oversee all legal matters, provide strategic legal advice, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. The ideal person will have both commercial, intellectual property and technical transaction experience. They will also have experience in a fast-paced environment. Due to the nature of this role, you must also be able to collaborate with our global team and handle multiple competing projects and priorities simultaneously. This role will report to the Global Chief Legal Officer. Position Description: This position is critical to safeguarding Mujin Corporation's legal and regulatory integrity. In this role, your primary duties include: - Legal Advisory and Compliance: Provide guidance on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and ethical business practices to ensure the company operates within local, state, and federal laws interviews - Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents with suppliers, customers, employees, and business partners - Risk Mitigation: Identify potential legal risks, conduct internal investigations, and recommend preventive measures to minimize exposure - Corporate Transactions: Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions by conducting due diligence, preparing documentation, and coordinating cross-functional teams - Litigation and Dispute Resolution: Represent the company in legal proceedings or manage external counsel when specialized expertise is required - Policy Development: Oversee the creation and implementation of corporate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws - Collaboration: You will work closely with departments such as Human Resources, Finance, and Operations to provide legal input on strategic decisions Position Requirements: - Juris Doctorate (JD) degree and active bar membership.
