at least 5 years of clinical experience who are passionate about providing therapeutic services and mentoring the next generation of clinicians. Key Responsibilities - Provide individual In-home therapy, Group therapy sessions, Telehealth therapy, and Outpatient center sessions.
- Conduct bio-psycho-social assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Teach coping, social, and anger management skills; reduce risk behaviors such as self-injury or physical aggression.
- Support youth and caregivers in making effective decisions to manage behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate effectively with the Child & Family Treatment Team and other professionals supporting the youth and family.
- Mentor newly hired therapists and interns, providing guidance, feedback, and support in clinical practices.
- Submit all required documentation and paperwork within designated timeframes (intake, treatment plans, DAP notes, etc.)
- Attend monthly meetings and complete mandatory clinical documentation.
- Must be able to complete or willing to train for Bio-Psycho-Social assessments.
Requirements - Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields.
- Active license in New Jersey (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LAC, LSW, LFT); candidates with out-of-state licenses may be considered if reciprocity applies.
- Minimum 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience working with youth with mental health disorders
- Experience mentoring, supervising, or training junior therapists and interns
- Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training
- Some training or willingness to complete Crisis Intervention Training
- Experience with treatment planning, progress notes, initial assessments, and goal setting
- Proficiency in counseling approaches such as CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma-Informed Care
- Knowledge of DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis
- Experience providing positive behavior supports
- Prior experience working with children ages 3-20; experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting
- Must submit resume plus copies of master's degree and NJ license or certification
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship
- State Reciprocity considered, but candidate must be within 25-30 minutes of service areas
- Availability during after-school hours (12 PM-8 PM); weekend flexibility is a plus
