How these Albuquerque veterinarian jobs work As a full-time IndeVet, you'll work shifts at vetted partner hospitals across our Albuquerque network. You tell us how you want to work-from your preferred days and drive radius to your clinical interests and hospital preferences-and your dedicated Scheduling Coordinator uses those preferences to curate your schedule.
Through ongoing conversations and feedback, we keep learning what works best for you and refine your shifts over time, with the goal of finding hospitals where you feel welcomed, valued, and able to do your best work.

What we're looking for Requirements - DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
- Active New Mexico license or ability to obtain one
- DEA + controlled substance licenses, as applicable
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
- Confidence practicing independently
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
Nice-to-haves - GP, ER, or urgent care experience
- Internship training
I can leave work and actually leave work. There isn't an expectation that my personal time is secondary to work or that I'm available 24/7. I can come in, do my job as a veterinarian, and then go home and enjoy my personal time. I honestly didn't believe that was possible. This is the least stressful-and probably the most fun-job I've had in years.
