Position Summary
Precise Software Solutions Inc. is seeking a
Full Stack Drupal Developer with hands-on experience in Drupal, Python, Linux, and Java to support and enhance a public-facing Drupal platform. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the full stack - from front-end theming and content management in Drupal to back-end Python and Java development and Linux systems administration - and can troubleshoot issues confidently across all of these layers. Local candidates are preferred; remote candidates will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform full-stack development across the Drupal front end (theming, configuration, modules) and Python/Java back-end services.
• Maintain and support a public-facing Drupal website, including content, configuration, and module updates.
• Maintain and upgrade Drupal and establish standards and best practices for ongoing development.
• Design, write, and maintain Python scripts and applications that run in the production Linux environment.
• Support ETL processes, file transfer jobs, and JDBC-based database connectivity on Linux servers.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Linux systems, including memory usage, background/batch jobs, and general system health.
• Apply strong Linux and Python expertise to diagnose and resolve production issues quickly.
• Use Java as needed to support integrations, utilities, and legacy components.
• Collaborate with client technical experts and business users throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Work within an Agile framework to deliver conceptual and technical solutions, updating designs and code based on client feedback.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) to accelerate coding, debugging, and documentation.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing applications on the Drupal platform.
• 3+ years of experience with Python, Linux, SQL, and Java.
• Full-stack development experience spanning front-end (Drupal) and back-end (Python/Java) technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot Linux systems (memory usage, background jobs, file transfer, JDBC connectivity).
• Must hold, or be able to obtain, a Public Trust clearance.
