What you will do
  • Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with federal and state regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
  • Review and verify prescriptions for dosage accuracy, potential interactions, and contraindications based on patient-specific factors.
  • Provide oversight, guidance, and quality assurance for pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate preparation and packaging of medications.
  • Maintain complete and compliant documentation for prescriptions, inventory, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with prescribers, pharmacy leadership, and team members to resolve issues and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in audits, process improvements, and continuous quality initiatives to enhance pharmacy workflows and ensure patient safety.
