Who You Will Work With:Reporting directly to the Leader, Product FP&A, the Senior Business Partner, Product FP&A will play a key role in financial planning activities, working closely with business partners to support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and decision-making.
What You Will Do: - Leading financial planning activities for Interac's Product portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and business performance analysis.
- Developing financial models, forecasts, business cases, and executive reporting to support investment decisions, portfolio management, and business growth.
- Partnering with Product, Client, Financial Operations, and Corporate FP&A teams to provide financial insights, decision support, and performance reporting.
- Providing financial governance over commercial initiatives, revenue recognition, accruals, resource planning, and product economics.
- Ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
What You Bring: - 5+ years of experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- A value-driven mindset, with a proven history of partnering with business users to improve processes and develop solutions that achieve organizational goals.
- Experience with large data sets, producing valuable insights to support strategic decisions.
- Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, and models.
- A solid understanding of accounting principles, particularly in relation to expense recognition.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial principles to non-financial users.
- Agility and adaptability, comfort with ambiguity, and a drive for continuous learning.
- Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
What We're Offering: The hiring range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000, and you will also be eligible for our short-term incentive plan.
